Refund and Returns Policy for JCB Containers

At JCB Containers, we are committed to your complete satisfaction. We stand behind the quality of every shipping container we sell. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
1. Return & Refund Eligibility
We offer a free, full return and refund on all our shipping containers, provided the following conditions are met:
- Timeframe: You must notify us of your intent to return the container within 7 calendar days of its delivery date.
- Condition: The container must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered. It must be empty, clean, and free of any new damage, modifications, or debris.
- Location: The container must be made available for collection at the exact original delivery address. It must be accessible for our haulier’s truck and lifting equipment, with all gates, roads, and pathways clear.
2. The Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Within 7 days of delivery, contact our customer service team at returns@jcbcontainers.com or call 08499540014. Please provide your order number and details of the reason for the return.
- Inspection & Scheduling: We will schedule an inspection and collection of the container. A representative may visit to verify the container’s condition matches our return criteria.
- Collection: Once approved, we will arrange for the container to be collected at a mutually agreed time. Please do not arrange your own transport. Returns must be handled by our authorised haulier to ensure safety and compliance.
- Refund Processing: Upon successful collection and confirmation that the container meets the return conditions, we will initiate your refund.
3. Refunds
- Timing: Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 14 business days of us receiving the returned container.
- Amount: You will receive a full refund of the purchase price. Delivery charges (if any were applied) will also be refunded in full.
4. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns and refunds will not be granted in the following situations:
- Requests made after the 7-day return window has closed.
- Containers that have been modified, painted, damaged, or contaminated after delivery.
- Containers that are no longer in the original delivery location or are inaccessible for safe collection.
- Containers purchased as “as-is” or under a specific, non-standard sales agreement (such items would be clearly marked at the point of sale).
5. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange your container for a different size or type, please contact us. We will process this as a return of the original container and a new purchase, subject to availability and pricing at the time.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items on Delivery
Our delivery process includes a pre-delivery inspection. You will be asked to sign a delivery note confirming the container’s condition upon arrival.
- Please inspect your container thoroughly before the delivery driver leaves.
- If you identify significant damage that was not pre-existing or noted on the delivery documentation, or if you have received the incorrect container, you must note this immediately on the delivery note and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or solution promptly.
